Shot on 100 ISO negative, and accidentally processed in E-6 Bath (for positives/ transparencies) it has been reversed here in PS to correct.

This shot is on a wide lens, waited for magic hour, and shot off a tripod with a long exposure and deep stop, Nikon D700.
Supermoon.
Well, I must say, the size of the moon depends greatly on the length of the lens!
Despite the moon only being around 14% bigger than usual, thought I would give it a whirl tonight with a 200mm, x2 extender, and shooting with a DX framing!
Having shot the moon many times, and using telescopes for said purpose, it is always nice to see what you come up with from gear in the camera bag.
Also used a couple great app for the iPhone- The Photographers Ephemeris and Vela clock- nice to know the degrees bearing for moonrise.
Life is grand.
